I post plays for the widely available promos on the major books (DK/FD/CZR) to my discord and then post to Twitter. These are the plays everyone has and are tracked conservatively in the spreadsheet below. By conservatively, I mean that I always track at the minimum max boost % and boost amount that they give out so that these serve as more of a bare minimum profit long term if you are tailing along. Sometimes plays die quickly and I post a replacement play for people who didn't get it, these are tracked half and half. 

‍July results/takeaways:

It continues to be an excellent year for us with the major books finishing up $484 on the month. Draftkings led the way up $235 with Fanduel not far behind at +$209 (I took two weeks off from posting on twitter for fanduel and in those two weeks the discord went up $106 so twitter makes up the other $103) and Caesars not contributing much finishing up $24. This brings the major books to +$5,942 YTD. For context, we finished last year up $7,980 so we are ahead of last year's pace. Draftkings moves up to +$3,315 on the year, Fanduel moves up to +$1,755 on the year, and Caesars nudges up to +$856 on the year. Let’s dive into the takeaways:

1. Consistency has been beautiful - Up $484 is actually our worst month in 2024. Pretty great for that to be the case 7 months in. Draftkings and Fanduel have each been up every single month this year. That is awesome to see and hopefully bettors have been enjoying the consistency/ low volatility this year. 

2. Lots of losses and lots of big hits defined July - Not sure I have ever seen so many -10s on a good month but that's what happens when you play longer odds plays. We had a lot of longer odds hits relative to usual and a lower winning percentage.

3. Have fun -  The takeaway from both 1 and 2 is clear - stop sweating small losing streaks and learn to check in at the end of the month. We have not had a single down month this year on either Draftkings or Fanduel (Discord books look similar). That being said, there is always going to be small losing streaks and big wins like we saw in July. This stuff works and driving yourself crazy through the highs and lows of a month isn't worth it. Enjoy the games/ bets and check your Pikkit at the end of the month to hopefully continue seeing green. 

‍Discord Results/Takeaways:

Starting in January 2024 I started tracking 3 of the main books that I do promos for in the discord: MGM, Betrivers, and ESPN. The way I track these is similar to twitter except every play is 1u and I track every bet posted to keep things simpler. There will be higher quantity than each individual can actually play 

Betrivers: +4.49 units in July, +118.42 units YTD through June

ESPNBET:  -7.7 units in July, +128.02u through July. 

MGM: +73.7 units in July, +196.1u through July. 

While MGM’s units will be inflated by there being more bets than any individual would have, the 102.4% ROI on the month is very real. 

Bet365 finished down $57 on the month bringing Bet365 to +$740 on the year. 

Takeaways:

1. MGM was awesome - 102.4% ROI, 73.7 units is an all time month. That was fun! Not much changed from previous months promo wise we just won more. It wasnt one big hit or anything like that (largest win was only +8.75 units) , just a lot of winning over on MGM in July. 

2. ESPNBET had very few promos - they will nosedive the EV rankings. I would say we should have won more given we finished down 7.7 units but it was really more of a volume thing. Let’s hope they come back strong for football season.
