ESPN:
Best thing - High max +EV NFL playoff lines. For whatever reason (I still believe to lay off liabilities), ESPN gave out an incredible opportunity by boosting Chiefs ML to +150 and Ravens -9.5 to +110/ -10.5 to +140. The maxes on these bets were incredibly high and it was a great “promo” for them.
Worst thing - In order to see an SGP price you have to be logged in and put money in the wager box. It isn’t a huge deal but it's annoying.
FanDuel:
Best thing - There are a lot of good things I could say about Fanduel (Boosts/promos, UI, etc) but the one that I want to mention is I can fully watch games on Fanduel if I placed a bet on the game. It is a nice feature when you are not at home
Worst thing - The vig on their SGPs is embarrassing. It is much worse than everyone else and shouldn’t be so drastically bad for a leader in the industry
DraftKings:
Best thing - Anytime you get up to number 1 in the most recent EV rankings I am going to say their promos. They are consistent and solid.
Worst thing - This comment got the whole discord in agreement so i'm going to put it here and hope they read and fix it:
“When I’m listening to music on my AirPods and I open DK it pauses my music. Make them fix” So please fix this DraftKings
BetRivers:
Best thing - parlay insurance promo
Worst thing - Limiting too many people. There is no better way than to stop people from telling their friends/ followers/ etc from joining your app than by not letting people bet on the promos on your app. While many remain able to bet on promos, the uptick in banning is the worst thing Betrivers has going right now.
Caesars:
Best thing - Only sportsbook left that does the occasional $50 max promos
Worst thing - glitches out and you lose the bet that was in your slip
Bet365:
Best thing - Hard to pick - early win payouts are great, solid promos, and low sgp vig are the highlights
Worst thing - not in enough states
BetMGM:
Best thing - Actually a few things to choose from - a ton of promos, low SGP vig, don’t seem to copy other book’s prices allowing some variety
Worst thing - Mass limiting/ promo banning really ruins what could be a widely used sportsbook if they were more lenient like FanDuel, DraftKings, and Caesars (those books aren’t perfect about it but they are better than MGM).
